I have been using the SimplyQuests and cards across a wide variety of classes and have found them to be an extremely useful conversational tool.
A set is always with me and I use them sometimes as warmers, as emergency lessons and in groups where attendance is not so regular.
As a teacher - it is a good language/vocabulary resource for feedback at the end of lessons or as a base for future lessons.

I have purchased many of the sheets for use with adult students at our language school in Germany. The feedback from teachers has been enthusiastic: the consensus is that conversations have more purpose, are more engaging, and with the use of the control sheets, it's easier to "get results" - real improvements in vocabulary, accuracy and confidence.

 I recently used your Simply Conversations cards in an in-company conversation class.
It was really interesting to watch how the students responded. At first they focused on answering the questions precisely. Towards the end of the session, they were using the cards more as conversation prompts and personalising their responses more. Thank-you for providing such a valuable resource. I also found the control sheet (for errors, new vocab. etc) really useful because the students have a take away record. Thanks again! |
